  • Is the VD4 bundle a good first direct drive setup?

Yes, because it avoids the classic first-purchase mistake: pairing a strong base with entry-level pedals, when braking is where most lap time is found. Here all three parts are sized together: 4 Nm base, 280 mm W AS wheel and PD HM Gen2 pedals.

  • What technology do the included pedals use?

Linear Hall magnetic induction sensors, with no potentiometer to wear out. Detection stays stable over time, which matters for reproducing the same braking input session after session. The wheel's shift paddles are aluminium alloy.

  • Can force feedback strength and curves be adjusted?

Yes, through the PXN app: strength, curves and settings are all customisable, and the base accepts firmware updates. The low-inertia direct drive servo motor with 24-bit encoder handles the rest. The set is designed for PC.
