The PXN Hall-sensor pedal set, included in the VD6 Bundle, brings smart technology to the entry-level segment: contactless magnetic sensors. Unlike the potentiometers found on classic gaming wheels, which wear out, get gunked up and lose precision, a Hall sensor touches nothing: its day-one accuracy is its millionth-lap accuracy.
Contactless stability and versatility
For a driver just starting out, it's exactly what's needed: a progressive throttle and a consistent brake let you build real habits (trail braking, throttle pickup on corner exit) with no equipment introducing a stray variable. The pedal set integrates natively with the VD6 setup: no separate configuration, everything works right out of the box, on a non-slip mat or mounted to a plate.
The next step: the load-cell brake
The upgrade path is the sim racing classic: once your lap times plateau, moving to a load-cell brake (Simagic P1000 leading the pack) will be your biggest gain in consistency, followed by a rigid cockpit to unlock it. The beauty of the system: each step happens independently, with your PXN base and wheel staying right where they are.
Stability, versatility and standalone operation
The advantage of Hall sensors: contactless measurement stays stable over time, with no drift or frequent recalibration needed, and with none of the friction noise some entry-level potentiometers produce. The pedal set works just as well for virtual karting as for classic GT racing. It's built to work with the full VD6 setup; standalone use is technically possible over USB, but not optimized by the manufacturer.
