No. They connect to the PC and work with any base. Staying inside the Simagic ecosystem lets you configure everything in SimPro Manager, but it is not a technical requirement.

The measuring principle. The TB-1 reads lever position, the TB-RS reads the hydraulic pressure you apply. In practice the TB-RS lets you stop and hold at a precise percentage of braking, which is exactly what holding a drift requires.

Both are sequential and the movement is the same. The difference is in construction and the firmness of the mechanical return. The Q1S is the entry point; the Q1 targets those wanting a more worked sensation on every shift.
