Sim Racing Cockpits

The cockpit is the foundation of your simulator: it takes the torque of the direct drive base and the push of your foot on the brake pedal. The stiffer it is, the cleaner the force feedback and the more consistent your braking from one lap to the next.

We carry 6Sigma aluminium profile cockpits, from the compact 6S Slim up to the 6S-160, as well as the Conspit FP-Lite formula chassis. Torn between a wheel stand, a tubular rig and an aluminium profile? Our cockpit buying guide compares all three. Then round out the rig with a seat and a monitor mount.

At what base power does a cockpit become necessary?

From 8 Nm on, a cockpit noticeably improves the feel; at 12 Nm and up, it becomes practically essential: a table flexes, vibrates and absorbs the fine details of force feedback.

Why choose an aluminum-profile cockpit?

For rigidity and modularity: extruded profiles don't flex under powerful bases and let you reposition every element (pedals, wheel, seat, screen) to the millimeter.

Is the 6Sigma 6S-120 V2 compatible with every brand?

Yes, its standard profile structure accepts Moza, Simagic, Conspit and other equipment, through their dedicated mounts or universal plates.

Can a screen be mounted on the cockpit?

Yes, with a dedicated mount like the 6Sigma VESA Micro Adjustment Mount (75x75 and 100x100), also ideal for triple-screen setups.

Do you ship cockpits across Canada?

Yes: we ship across the country. Profiles arrive in compact packages with guided assembly.

How long does it take to assemble a profile-based cockpit?

Expect roughly one to two hours for a first guided assembly, depending on how familiar you are with basic tools.

Does a cockpit take up a lot more space than a desk setup?

Yes, plan for a dedicated space of about 1.5 to 2 square meters; that's the trade-off for the rigidity and comfort a real cockpit provides.

Can a cockpit be disassembled for storage or a move?

Yes, the profile structure comes apart completely with standard tools, making storage or transport easier.

Buying Guide: How to Choose Your Sim Racing Cockpit

The cockpit is the invisible foundation of your lap times: all the precision of a Direct Drive base and a load-cell pedal set gets lost if the frame it's bolted to flexes under load. A rigid cockpit guarantees that every newton of force feedback reaches your hands and every kilo of braking force reaches the sensor, not the frame's flex. This is the purchase that unlocks the true potential of everything else in your setup.

What to check before you buy

The modern standard is extruded aluminum profile: massive rigidity, endless modularity (every component slides and repositions) and universal compatibility with equipment on the market. The 6Sigma 6S-120 V2 is a perfect example of the formula: ultra-rigid 120 mm profiles, built to absorb the most powerful Direct Drive bases in our catalog (Moza R25 Ultra, Simagic EVO Pro 18 Nm) without a hint of unwanted movement, with full adjustment of pedal, wheel and seat position.

Assembly, required space and transport

Three points to check before buying: floor dimensions (measure your space, including how far back the seat needs to go), mounting compatibility with your current and future equipment (front and side mounts like the ARES Front Mount or the EVO fixtures bolt directly to the profiles), and the accessory ecosystem: a micro-adjustment VESA screen mount, shifter and handbrake supports. A good cockpit is bought once and grows with you for years.
