What does the official Ford licence actually bring?

The carbon fibre body and grips reproduce the authentic geometry of the Mustang GT3 wheel, down to the exact placement of the controls. If you race GT3 on iRacing or ACC, the movements match the real car with no adjustment period.

Is the wheel heavy to run on a base?

No, 1120 g for a fully carbon fibre structure. That's reasonable for this level of equipment, and the rigidity of carbon prevents any parasitic flex between your hands and the base. It fits 50.8 and 70 mm quick releases.
