THRUSTMASTER T598: next-generation precision and feel

THRUSTMASTER T598 — bundle direct drive pour simulateur de course 01 / 04

Innovative Direct Axial Drive Technology

The THRUSTMASTER T598 uses an axial flux Direct Drive motor that eliminates cogging sensations and allows for extremely smooth steering wheel movement. This architecture transmits track information with remarkable clarity, allowing you to feel every detail of the car and the surface.

02 / 04

Detailed and Responsive Force Feedback

Thanks to its constant 5 Nm torque and overshoot technology, the base can instantly amplify certain effects to reproduce vibrations, grip loss or impacts on rumble strips with greater intensity.

03 / 04

Integrated Race Dash Interface

The integrated Race Dash Screen allows you to directly adjust steering wheel settings and save multiple profiles. Drivers can quickly change force feedback settings, intensity, or advanced functions without leaving their simulation.

04 / 04

An evolving ecosystem

The T598 is integrated into the THRUSTMASTER ecosystem, making it easy to add other steering wheels, pedal sets, shifters, or handbrakes to build a complete Sim Racing cockpit.

FAQ

A few questions we're often asked about this product.

Our team of experts is here to answer any question you have.

Yes. It's one of the few direct drive bases that supports PlayStation 4 and 5 alongside PC, which makes it a realistic route into direct drive for console players. The set includes the detachable 30 cm Sportcar wheel and metal pedals.

Headroom of up to +100% beyond the 5 Nm continuous rating, called on for brief events: kerb strikes, contact, sudden lock-ups. Those moments come through far more strongly without swamping the feel of the rest of the lap, giving a dynamic closer to a high-torque base.

Adjusting the base and saving multiple profiles straight from the wheel, without a PC: genuinely useful on console, where settings access is often limited. The axial-flux Direct Axial Drive technology removes noticeable cogging, with roughly 5 ms of latency.
