In analogue mode the paddles act as a progressive clutch, which is what you need for a standing start where the bite point lives within a few millimetres. In button mode they become on/off controls for other functions once the race is underway. The switch happens automatically.

Yes. Each paddle is set independently as button, clutch, Smart mode or a combination. You can keep an analogue clutch on the left and a button on the right, or put both in Smart mode so you never touch settings mid-race.

They're offered as an option with the VPG Porsche 911 Cup wheel and install wirelessly on compatible VPG wheels, using the existing electronics. Configuration runs through SimHub and DNR. Built from billet 6061 aluminium with carbon fibre paddles.
