It's machined for the CONSPIT CPP Lite pedal set and matches its bolt pattern exactly. On another pedal set the mounting points won't line up. If you run a CPP Lite, this is the base built for it; if not, message us and we'll point you to the right plate for your model.

A lot, because hydraulic braking is about pressure, not travel. Any flex in the base moves your braking point from lap to lap, and you end up correcting without knowing why. The anodised aluminium plate gives the pedals a rigid seat: the same pressure produces the same braking, every time.

Yes to both. The heel rest adjusts for depth so you can set the support to your height and driving position, which cuts foot fatigue noticeably on long stints. All mounting hardware is included in the box, with nothing else to order.
