CONSPIT mat: protect the floor and steady your cockpit

A protected floor

A cockpit loaded with a driver and pedal forces of tens of kilos leaves lasting marks on hardwood or soft flooring. The mat takes the hit.

A chassis that stays put

On tile or laminate, a chassis creeps forward at every hard braking zone. The mat creates a stable interface, so you stop repositioning the cockpit every few sessions.

Less vibration passed on

It absorbs part of the vibration sent into the floor, worth considering in an apartment or upstairs room.

A clearly defined driving area

It neatly marks out the driving area, makes cleaning easier and gives a finished look to setups that get shown or filmed.

FAQ

A few questions we're often asked about this product.

Our team of experts is here to answer any question you have.

Is a cockpit floor mat actually worth it?

It solves two real problems. Protection first: a 30 kg rig, loaded with a driver and tens of kilos of pedal force, leaves lasting marks on hardwood or soft flooring. Grip second: on tile or laminate, a chassis creeps forward under every hard braking zone.

Does the mat really stop the rig from sliding?

It creates a stable interface between the floor and the frame, which saves you repositioning the chassis every few sessions. On very slick flooring with a high-torque base, pair it with adjustable feet or a wall fixing for a complete solution.

Does it cut the noise carried to the neighbours?

Partly. The mat absorbs some of the vibration going into the floor, which matters in an apartment or upstairs room, especially with load cell pedals where every braking input sends a shock through the slab. It's not dedicated isolation, but the room below notices the difference.
