The tray is 60 x 30 cm, which covers standard mid-towers as well as most full-size gaming cases. The PC sits flat across the whole surface, so weight isn't the issue: the case footprint decides the fit. Measure the base of your tower before ordering.

Yes, as long as it's built from standard aluminium extrusion. It bolts to series 40 profiles, the most common format on aluminium cockpits. The matte black finish is a natural match for a 6SIGMA chassis, but nothing stops you from fitting it to another rig of the same type.

On the floor, the tower collects dust, absorbs every vibration through the slab and eventually takes a kick as you climb out of the seat. Bolted to the chassis it avoids all of that, cable runs to the wheel and monitors get shorter, and you free up floor space around the cockpit. Ports stay reachable for a headset or USB stick.
