Exclusive technology for smoother downshifts

The patented Intelligent Downshift Throttle Blip system developed by MOZA RACING automates throttle blips during downshifts. Fully configurable in MOZA Pit House, it enhances vehicle stability and facilitates braking without requiring mastery of the heel-and-toe technique. This function can be enabled, disabled, or adjusted according to your preferences.

  • What is the HGP's Auto-Blip system?

    On a real manual gearbox, downshifting cleanly needs a throttle blip to match revs. Without it the transmission binds and unsettles the car on corner entry. Auto-Blip handles that blip for you, which lets you drive an H-pattern without having mastered heel-and-toe.

  • Can the assist be turned off to learn properly?

    Yes, the assist is configurable in MOZA Pit House. Plenty of drivers start with Auto-Blip on, then dial the help back as they learn heel-and-toe. It's a way into historic cars and older GTs without getting discouraged in the first few laps.

  • Does the HGP wear out over time?

    The usual wear point on a shifter is the mechanical contacts. The HGP uses a contactless 15-bit magnetic angle sensor, so there's no wear and no calibration drift. The body is CNC machined aerospace aluminium, 100 x 140 x 250 mm at 1.8 kg, with a 7-speed plus reverse gate.
